Where The Silhouette Lingers
‘Where the Silhouette Lingers’ is a collection devoted to reviving and celebrating antiques through the art of hand-painting. Adopting an “anti-new” philosophy, it resists the pressure for constant novelty, instead infusing timelessness and heritage as guiding principles for interior design. Drawing inspiration from historic ornamentation, particularly vases sourced from antique shops, flea markets, heritage design houses and personal heirlooms, I reinterpret these elements with a contemporary sensibility.
Through careful observation, I derive jewel-toned palettes, intricate composition, and atmospheric qualities that evoke memory and mood. These are translated into my wallpaper designs, which possess a dynamic, tactile energy. I explore the evocative power of darkness and depth, using colour to suggest emotion, history and a richness.
Bespoke craftsmanship defines my work. Each piece is tailored to reflect individual tastes and spatial needs of the client, offering a level of exclusivity. My custom hand-painted and screen-printed works function as integrated murals, simultaneously part of the architecture and a personal expression of identity.
Five-panel Series
A signature feature of the bespoke collection is a five-panel series, in which clients can select and customise a panel from my technical drawings, adjusting colour, scale and detail to suit their vision. This collection creates enduring, mural-like pieces that not only enhance a space but also transform narrative.
